Cerro Colorado is a comprehensive urban intervention aimed at revitalizing a social interest housing sector in Porlamar, Nueva Esparta. The primary goal is to dynamize the community by repairing existing structures and introducing essential new amenities. Key upgrades include the extensive rehabilitation of a multi-purpose sports court—which goes beyond basic maintenance to add new bleachers, family spaces, and a parking lot—and a new landscaped stairway to better connect the court to adjacent homes. Furthermore, the initiative transforms an empty dumping site into a vibrant communal park featuring playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment, alongside the creation of a new bus stop. The entire neighborhood is visually elevated through newly painted facades, local-themed murals, and the integration of drought-resistant, native landscaping.
