Functioning as the primary pre-operative hub for Hospital Clinicas del Este, UCA manages the critical transition phase for surgical patients. The unit is programmed to accommodate up to eight simultaneous users, facilitating final medical checks, administrative intake, and surgical preparation. The spatial layout integrates essential support nodes, including patient locker areas, minor procedure rooms, and a central nurse control station. Aesthetically, the project maintains continuity with the hospital's human-centric design strategy, employing a palette of warm tones and wood finishes to mitigate pre-surgical anxiety through environmental psychology.
