Located within the Hospital Clinicas del Este, UTI represents the development of a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit. The facility features 11 isolated patient suites integrated with advanced life-support and monitoring technologies. The programmatic layout is engineered for operational efficiency, incorporating essential support services such as a central monitoring hub, sample processing labs, and sterile waste management zones. Architecturally, the project focuses on the humanization of the clinical environment. By maximizing natural light intake and introducing warm wood finishes, the design mitigates the sterility typically associated with critical care, prioritizing patient well-being through environmental psychology.
