Located within the Hospital Clinicas del Este infrastructure, UTIN functions as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The programmatic layout accommodates five specialized beds for critical care, with one station configured for isolation. While reduced in spatial footprint, the unit mirrors the operational logic and complementary functions of the main Intensive Care Unit. Architecturally, the project maintains aesthetic continuity with the complex, employing a human-centric design strategy that utilizes warm wood finishes and a curated lighting plan to soften the clinical environment.
